Reflexology is a holistic healing art based on the principle that there are reflexes in the feet, hands, and ears that correspond to every part, gland, and organ of the body. Through application of manual techniques on these reflexes, reflexology stimulates neural pathways to promote the optimal functioning and balance of the body.
Reflexology may provide numerous benefits, including reducing stress and anxiety, promoting relaxation, improving circulation, reducing pain, and enhancing overall well-being. Reflexology has been used to address various conditions including migraines, digestive issues, trauma, and more.
Omg! I'm feeling so good. You unlocked this tightness in my left hip I've been struggling with for a few months. And I feel like I have a lot more energy since I've seen you. I can't wait to do it again. -E

I enjoyed feeling relaxed. It was my first reflexology session. I feel more centered/aware of my body. I also think my third eye feels more clear/open. Released a lot of stress. - L
Autonomic Sensory Meridian Response (ASMR) is the term used to describe the pleasant tingling sensation that often originates in the scalp and flows down the neck and spine as a response to certain audio-visual triggers. The slightly euphoric relaxation due to involvement of dopamine and oxytocin in the brain can be induced by triggers such as whispering or soft speaking, caring personal attention, crisp sounds like tapping or scratching, slow movements, and repetitive movements.
Regular viewers turn to ASMR videos for relief from depression, anxiety, insomnia, and chronic pain. A study (Poerio, Blakey, Hostler, & Veltri, 2018) has shown ASMR is associated with increased positive emotional states and decreased heart rates. Much like guided meditation in cognitive behavior techniques, experiencing ASMR engages a person in mindfulness and offers the feeling of being cared for.
About 20% of the population experiences ASMR. Tingles are not guaranteed. If you are not familiar with ASMR, it's best to do your research and try YouTube first to get an idea of your favorite triggers or just be prepared to experiment. On the other hand, if you are familiar with ASMR and know exactly what triggers you, we can discuss how to best accommodate.
The goal of every session is to use positive healing energy to promote a sense of well-being, mindfulness, and connection in a safe and non-judgmental space. Sessions with ASMR can include triggers not limited to hair play, scalp tools, light scratching or tapping, face tracing, face brushing, and ear swabbing. Each session is tailored to individual preferences. Please remember to fill out the intake form with as much detail as possible. Discuss with me ahead of time any questions, concerns, and requests. Communication is key to having the smoothest and most relaxing experience.
